Bristol's Only Truly Accessible Conference Centre

In our totally accessible Conference Centre, disabled people can lead, manage meetings and participate fully and independently. We provide projection facilities, a PC Data Projector, voice amplification, induction loop and flip-charts.
The modern facilities, access features and attractiveness of the David Hiatt Baker Conference Centre, are particularly valued by disabled and older people.
Our Centre also has flexible rooms to accommodate meetings of different sizes. The rooms available are:
- A large conference room (35 x 47 = 1,645 sq ft)
- Four meeting rooms (sizes range from the largest 11 x 26 = 286 sq ft; to the smallest at 11 x 13 = 143 sq ft)
- A room where food and drinks are normally served but can also be used for meetings (11x 23 = 253 sq ft)
- A small kitchen (11 x 11 = 121 sq ft)
All rooms can be laid out in a style that suits your event. Please follow this link for more information about room set-up styles.

"I am still astonished by how many conference centres seem to have such poor facilities for disabled people, particularly disabled speakers. I was therefore pleased to see that the conference centre at the Vassall Centre was fully accessible and so was the platform for speakers." Bert Massie, Chairman, Disability Rights Commission
